Our location at O’Reilly’s Canungra Valley Vineyards
In 2018, Mountview Alpaca Farm found a new home at O’Reilly’s Canungra Valley Vineyards. We decided to move the alpaca farm from its previous location of 20yrs, after Ex-Tropical Cyclone Debbie in 2017.
It took twelve months to relocate the farm and our new doors are open to the public 7 days. The previous location in Lamington National Park is no longer operational.
We are now located only 10mins drive from the centre of Canungra, so there is no long mountain drive to undertake to visit the alpacas now! Just a 10min drive from Canungra Cafe’s, 45mins from Surfer’s Paradise or 25mins from Gallery Walk on Mount Tamborine.
Drive into the vineyard and you will find the alpacas & alpaca shop on the left side of the vineyard car park adjacent to the main homestead.

We are open everyday of the year except for Good Friday and Christmas Day.
We have disabled parking spaces along with bus parking, both of which have flat and even ground with lawn, walkways and ramps to all facilities. On weekdays you can generally park quite close to all facilities, and on weekends there is always space to drop off visitors and park along the driveway if required.
You can read through the options on our Experiences page. This page explains all of the alpaca experiences you can choose from for your visit. You can choose a simple “Alpaca Experience” or include a picnic or pizza deal for example. Once you choose an experience, click on the “Book” button which will lead you to the online booking page.
Once on the booking page for your desired experience, firstly choose a date for your visit and select a time. This time is the start time for your alpaca experience, so if you are including any type of food or wine, this can be collected anytime after your experience.
You will then be asked who is coming. Simply select how many adults, kids and seniors will be attending. Many experiences will also show you some optional add-ons. Click on the “Checkout” button to proceed to add-on options (skip if you do not need any add-ons).
The final page will allow you to enter your details for the booking. If you have a discount code or voucher this is also where you can enter that. Then proceed to the payment panel.
Once your payment has been processed you will receive an emailed confirmation. If you need to change your booking at all, simply contact our staff via phone or email at least 24hrs before your booking time to be issued a voucher for re-booking.
We have strict cancellation policies and cannot issue a refund less than 48hrs before your booking. Any cancellations less than 24hrs ahead may not be processed. We will always do our best to reschedule your bookings where possible.
All bookings must be pre-paid to confirm your experience. You can also call our team on 0490 973 865 to book and pay over the phone or using a payment link. When you arrive to the farm on the day, simply check in at the Alpaca Giftshop first to receive any alpaca food and instructions for your experience.
