About Us
The Alpaca Farm here in Canungra has been operating for around a quarter of a century, and was purchased by owners Jen and Steve over 12 years ago.
Originally located in the Green Mountains section of Lamington National Park, not far from O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat it has since relocated to a more accessible location with a totally relaunched customer experience focus.
After Cyclone Debbie hit the region in 2017, an opportunity arose to relocate the Alpaca Farm to the O’Reilly’s Canungra Valley Vineyards. A great decision made by default, the business now offers visitors a greater experience, from the winery and the restaurant to the cuddling, walking and feeding of alpacas.

Steve and Jen Pack have made Mountview Alpaca Farm more than just a tourist attraction, it’s an experience creating amazing memories with your family and friends.

We are so fortunate to have such a fantastic group of high achievers and animal lovers come together to form our very special crew at Mountview Alpaca Farm.
We have a laugh and share the load! We shovel poo together volunteer our time to bringing smiles to those in need, and enjoy a special bond with these amazing creatures (the alpacas!).
There is always something happening behind the scenes and we look forward to sharing some of these with you.
